Affinity Esports is now enrolling for Winter Classes!
Whether your child loves building, designing, or playing with purpose, there’s something for every gamer this season. Kids can learn Content Creation and Live Streaming as well as Game Creation and Coding while getting introduced to exciting ways to create, game, and grow in a supportive environment. Session A Classes in Newtown run Mondays and Tuesdays for 5 weeks starting February 2nd.
Starts Monday, 2/1: Content Creation & Live Streaming
During this class, your child will have the opportunity to explore their creativity as they produce unique content. They will get an overview of hardware and software requirements, streaming platforms (such as Twitch and YouTube), audio, video editing, graphic design, and more. They will be able to configure their setup, get behind the camera and microphone, and share the final results online (or just with family and friends).
Starts Tuesday, 2/2: Game Creation & Coding
This class will require students to problem-solve, be creative, think critically, and hone basic computer skills to achieve their game creation goals. They will start by learning code basics through Scratch, the world's largest coding community and visual coding language for children, to create their own games. They will also have the opportunity to practice coding through a variety of fun challenges and coding courses in Minecraft Education Edition and Roblox.

Fridays at 6pm - Youth Game Night
Drop the kids and have a night out. We provide a social gaming atmosphere with music, pizza, socializing, and gaming.

Founded in 2021, Affinity Esports is Connecticut’s premier organization for healthier gaming. They are on a mission to create safe spaces that deliver holistic experiences for all gamers, achieving this through structured programming that increases accessibility, community education, and inclusion.
