Bark in the Park: In Memory of Tyler returns for its fourth year on Saturday, September 20th from 11am-4pm to Bennett Memorial Park (14 Shelter Rock Rd. in Bethel, Conn). The much-anticipated event, run by Happily Furever After Rescue, is a day of celebration as it commemorates the birthday of the founder's dog, Tyler.
Tyler tragically lost his battle to cancer in December 2021 and would have celebrated his 11th birthday this year on September 24th. Tyler is the inspiration behind why Happily Furever After Rescue was founded back in 2020, and Bark in the Park is a way to celebrate and honor his legacy while encouraging others to support animal welfare.
The fourth annual Bark in the Park: In Memory of Tyler offers activities for everyone to enjoy, furry friends included! The event is free to attend, however, donations are graciously accepted. All money raised during Bark in the Park will directly benefit Happily Furever After Rescue.
This family and pet-friendly event will feature adoptable dogs and cats, 20+ vendors, food trucks, raffle, live band, lawn games and much more.
Kids of all ages will enjoy: arts & crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, a henna artist, caricature artist and fairy hair!
For the pets, there will be a dog agility & lure course, pet reiki, an animal communicator, a dog kissing booth, a Starpups Puppuccino station and the Bethel Police Department K9.
