Most Western Connecticut schools start up the week of August 25th so the countdown is certainly on for getting all the things your kids need to start off their school year! Our friends at Danbury Fair have shared a number of happenings going on in the coming weeks from special events to new stores opening that will help parents in our area get their kids ready for the first day of school.
SAVE DURING TAX-FREE WEEK

The exemption covers clothing and shoes priced under $100, which are normally subject to a 6.35% sales tax. It does not cover athletic equipment, jewelry, and hair accessories.
